I’m going to share with you a family favorite in our house. It’s super simple and super yummy. I couldn’t tell you where I found the recipe for it though, so if you wanna try it, you’re just going to have to get it from here! The recipe is called easy lasagna, and the title fits it perfectly!
The ingredient list:
Jar of pasta sauce
1 bag of frozen cheese ravioli, unthawed
Shredded mozzarella cheese ( I didn’t put an amount here because I figure people will use as much as they will like)
grated parmesan cheese
1 pound ground beef or turkey
Here are some extras that the original recipe used, I didn’t put them in here because, well I have very very picky eaters in my house and they wouldn’t have it.
10-ounce box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
part-skim ricotta cheese( I’m guessing the original author of the recipe used a small container of this)
So here’s how you make it:
Heat oven to 350 F. Brown hamburger/turkey until completely done (drain if necessary)
Spoon 1/3 of the pasta sauce in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place 12 ravioli on top. Cover with beef/turkey (or the ricotta cheese and spinach if you want) and half of the mozzarella.
Add another layer of ravioli and the rest of the sauce, mozzarella and the parmesan. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake until bubbly, about 5-10 minutes more.
It’s oh so good!
You can try swapping out the ravioli with tortellini, which is also yummy!
