The holiday season is upon us isn’t it? Time for stockings hung up by the fireplace, crazy Christmas shopping, hot chocolate milk and so many more fun activities. But one of the best parts of this time of year is all the baking we do for our family or friends or just for whatever. I joined this cookie swap group online and I am super excited to share with you what cookie I was swapped.
So how this worked was that I signed up on a blog I follow to participate, then once the people in charge of it got all the names for the swap we got partnered up with someone and we had to exchange cookie recipes that weren’t your traditional Christmas cookie recipes like the peanut butter blossoms. I sent my partner Terri my red velvet chocolate chip cookies and she gave me her recipe for Cinnamon Oatmeal cookies. Yum.
Let’s get started eh? **Printable recipe is below all the pretty pictures ;)**
Grab some softened butta.
Cream it with your sugars.
My lil cookie monster helping.
Add in your eggs and vanilla.
Mix your dry ingredients, minus the oats.
Add that into the butter mixture.
Scoop into balls onto your cookie sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes in a preheated oven.
Let them bad boys cool.
Drizzle some white chocolate icing on top. MMMMMM..
Try not to each more than you should. Seriously. These are so good. Thanks Teri for the delicious recipe!
Now it’s your turn to make them, full recipe is below. 🙂
Also, check out all the other cookies involved in the cookie swap at the hosts’ blogs below:
