Yesterday in my I’m Thankful for…post I mentioned that I was thankful for all the friends in my life and I highlighted a couple of my closest friends and why I’m thankful for them.
Today’s thankful post is for my family.
I’m thankful not just my immediate family consisting of Mr. Newman, String Bean, Turbo and Chunky Monkey, I’m grateful for those outside of our little 5 person clan.
I’m grateful for Mr. Newman and him bringing home the bacon, literally and figuratively speaking. He is the bread-winner or should I say bacon winner… loves his bacon, in our family. He works super hard making sure we have the things we need in life and sometimes some things we don’t necessarily need either.
I’m thankful for our three little rugrats. You little turkeys, though you can’t read this, I am thankful for your ability to make me feel like a kid again. You let me play with you. You let me be silly with you.
I’m thankful for our parents. They have done so much for us in the last 9 years. From the babysitting gig, to providing us with advice, and so many more things I can’t think of right now. One major thing I want to thank them for is raising us right. Guiding us to be good people, to make good choices in life.
I’m thankful for siblings. I only have one sibling and he has been my protector ever since I was little. I’m am grateful for the siblings Mr. Newman and I have. You are the best aunts and uncles my kids could ask for. They get excited when they know they get to see you.
This is a super short post but I don’t think it has to be lengthy to show your gratitude for the people in our lives.
What are you grateful for today?
