Italian Style Meatloaf

Woot!

I have a new recipe for y’all.

So. Bad me. I have no idea where I found this recipe. So if it’s yours, please let me know so I can give you credit.

I don’t know how it’s an Italian style meatloaf. Maybe because it uses Italian seasoning in it? Could be.

Basically for this recipe it’s like making any other type of ordinary meatloaf only you’re adding cheese, a marinara sauce and some different seasonings.

You’ll wanna make the saucey first. Because I said so. Also the bouillon cube takes forever to dissolve and if you’re like me, you hate waiting around for tedious stuff like that. (See below for recipe in paragraph form 🙂 )

While the sauce is simmering go ahead and mix up the rest of the meatloaf ingredients.

Now I don’t really measure the cheese part. We like to support our dairy farmers. A lot.

You should see all the dairy products we have in our fridge right now.

I believe there’s 4 gallons of milk, lots o’ cheese, some ice cream, more ice cream and butta.

I know this isn’t dairy, but comes from the same type of animal, we also support our local beef farmers too.  We usually buy between 1/4-1/3 of a cow every year. Saves so much money on having to buy beef from the store. And we don’t just get ground beef, we get all sorts of cuts. Yum.

*SIDETRACKED!**

Once you’ve got all that mixed up add in half the sauce you’ve been simmering. Give it a good mixaroo.

Now smoosh that good stuff into a loaf pan and then add the rest of the sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Toss that guy into the oven for about 45-50 minutes and wait patiently  (ha, yeah right) for that yummy, cheesy goodness.
