Meatballs for My Spaghetti

 I love me some s’ghetti. Mmm. Mmm. I like meatballs with my s’gehetti too. But the store brought ones are just not any fun after a while. And I can never find a good recipe for homemade meatballs.
 Until most recently.
 I was bumming around on the interwebs a few months back (yes I know, why did I wait this long to post this…sowwy), and I came across the Kraft website trying to find some new recipes in general and I came across this little recipe for meatballs.
I mean it can’t be horrible can it? It has cheese in it.
 That’s right, I said cheese.
I had seen these in the store every time we went grocery shopping but never thought to pick one up and see what I could make out of it.
I am so glad I found this recipe because they are DELISH!
They come like this and all you have to do is open the package and mix the cheese and breadcrumbs together…so easy peasy!
Mix it with your meat, whatever it may be!
Get it ready for oven  to be cooked…
 And ta-da, deliciousness in minutes!
I was skeptical at first on how these would turn out  taste-wise and to my surprise they knocked the socks off of my critics (ie. Mr. Newman and kids).  Needless to say this recipe is going to stick around, yummy in our tummies!
Meatballs adapted from Kraft  
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork ( I used a pound of ground beef in my post here, but you can follow the original)
2 T parsley
1 T thyme
1 pkg Kraft  Fresh Take Classic 4 Cheese Bread crumb mix
Heat oven to 375. Mix first 5 (4 if only using a pound ground beef) ingredients together and 1 1/3 c. cheese mixture until just blended. Shape into 12 meatballs. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until 165 degrees. And enjoy!!
