That time of the year is coming…

Unless you’re my son who doesn’t like cereal…period. Yet he’ll eat Rice Krispy Bars…hmmm.

It’s good. No it’s delicious. Not good for your diet, if you’re on one.

Here’s the recipe if you aren’t on a diet.

Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Bars

7 c. Reese’s Peanut Butter Puffs Cereal

12 oz. Miniature Marshmallows

4 T butter

4 oz. Reese’s Pieces

Lightly spray a 9×13 pan and set aside. In a large bowl, measure out the cereal and then set aside. In a large pot, melt butter and then add marshmallows. Stir constantly, until marshmallows are completely melted. Immediately pour over cereal and stir until completely covered. Add Reese’s Pieces to the mixture. SPread into pan. If necessary, spray hands or rubber scraper with cooking spray to prevent sticking as you press the mixture into the pan. Pour the rest of the Reese’s onto the top of the mixture, and lightly press so that they adhere to the still sticky marshmallows.
